About Dark Harbor
Dark Harbor is an intense and scary Halloween experience at the Queen Mary. Due to the nature of the historic ship and surrounding facilities some locations are not wheelchair accessible. Our guests in a wheelchair may enjoy the mazes of Rogue, Intrepid and Circus, as well as the 4D Theater*, Big Top Stage and live entertainment. Please note the mazes of Feast, Lullaby, B340, as well as the RIP Lounge are not wheelchair accessible.

Dark Harbor is the Queen Mary’s annual Halloween haunted attraction featuring 6 haunted mazes, a 4D theater experience, hundreds of monsters, live entertainment, resident DJ’s, themed bars, private creepy cabanas, concession-style grub, along with an R.I.P. lounge experience.
The terror begins September 26 and runs for 23 haunted evenings through November 2. Ticket prices start at just $20 online, with additional Fast Fright, Evil Express, and Ultimate Scream upgrades available, exclusive backstage cocktail hour (Dark Hour) and haunting hotel packages available.

Maze lines may close early due to capacity. We recommend arriving early to enjoy Happy Haunting Happy Hour just outside of our gates from 6pm – 7pm to avoid the lines! Grab a drink from one of the bars and enjoy our Killer DJ’s pre-opening mash-up.
No. There are no age restrictions to enter the event, however, We DO NOT recommend children under the age of 12 attend Dark Harbor. Dark Harbor can be an extremely intense and frightening experience and may contain inappropriate content for children.
Access to the R.I.P. Lounge is granted upon purchase of an R.I.P. Lounge upgrade and is restricted to guests 21+ with a valid ID. (There are no refunds for any reason).
No, monsters are not allowed to touch guests.
No, there are no ins and outs. Your Dark Harbor experience ends when you walk outside of our gates…assuming you’re able to escape our terrifying monsters.
Yes, Dark Harbor will be open on Halloween from 7PM- Midnight. This is one of only two nights when guests are invited to don a costume for our Annual Costume Ball! $1000 in cash prizes will be awarded at the Halloween night costume costest. No masks or props allowed.
No. Costumes, masks, costume makeup and props are strictly prohibited, EXCEPT at our LGBTQ+ Night on Sunday, October 27 and on Halloween (10/31) and Dia de los Muertos (11/1). On these three nights, we welcome costumes without masks or props. On LGBTQ+ Night and Halloween Night, you're invited to enter our Costume Contest for a chance to win cash prizes.

Tickets start at $20 for the Happy Haunting Hour and $34 for General Admission (online only). We recommend that guests buy their tickets online to save time and money. Tickets are less expensive when bought online at least 24 hours in advance. Please PRINT OUT YOUR TICKETS prior to arrival and avoid the WILL CALL LINE. Happy Haunting Hour tickets start at only $20 and are in limited supply for each evening of Dark Harbor! They are only available for purchase online (not at the box office) and are a discounted ticket for those willing to come early. Arrive at Dark Harbor beginning at 6 pm and take down a specialty cocktail or two at The Gallows & The Last Drop Bar or start your night off with whiskey flights located next door at The Barrel Tasting Room inside Dark Harbor’s Shipyard before the gates officially open. Guests with this ticket MUST enter the park before 8:00PM, or they will have to purchase a full price admission ticket with no credit issued for unused Happy Haunting Hour tickets.

Make your night of terror even more frightfully fun with a Fast Fright Pass upgrade on your General Admission ticket. These limited passes give you expedited, priority entry into our event and mazes. Fast Fright tickets sell out for each night, so purchase yours today and save by purchasing online in advance.

There is a Fast Fright lane for every maze and Fast Fright passes are good for all six mazes for the duration of the night, however we cannot guarantee you will get into every maze, this depends on how much you dilly dally. Fast Fright passes also grant you expedited entry into the event.
Our R.I.P. Lounge Passport includes all night admission for (1) guest to the RIP Lounge located above Dark Harbor, with an All You Can Eat taco bar and (2) drink tickets. Eat, drink, and take a breather in the Lounge where you can rest in peace with a ghost-eye view of the entire event with an occasional monster encounter.

The Ultimate Scream Experience is our most exclusive ticket available, with VERY limited supply for each night of Dark Harbor. You and up to 9 other Ultimate Screamers will join a guide who will escort you to the front of the line of each maze. Take a break in our exclusive R.I.P. Lounge located above Dark Harbor, where you can rest in peace with a ghost-eye-view of the entire event, grub on the All You Can Eat Taco Bar, and redeem your two drink tickets.

Dark Hour is an exciting backstage experience with the main cast monsters and producer of Dark Harbor, and is held from 5:30 – 6:45pm on select nights only: October 11, 18, 25, and 31. Upon entering the Dark Hour lair located on board the Queen Mary, you’ll be offered a rare chance to mingle and take pictures with all the main cast monsters, and then get to enjoy food and hors d’oeuvres with cocktails available for purchase. You can then witness or participate in a Q+A session with the producer of Dark Harbor, after which you will be escorted to a balcony viewing of the 7pm gate opening of Dark Harbor, a rare treat to view the rush from above! Then it’s off to have the fright of your life, and for the rest of the evening you can make use of Evil Express line entry into all the mazes. And did we mention your ticket includes on-site parking at Dark Harbor?

- Our private Creepy Cabanas can be reserved in advance and start at $99, putting you front and center of your own private party and accommodating up to 10 guests each. Each private cabana features an attendant serving from the bottle service and food menu. There is a $50 food and beverage minimum required with each cabana reservation.
- Private patios are available in limited quantities and start at $199 – Each with their own special perk – choose yours today and let the adventure begin! $75 Food and Beverage Minimum purchase from menu required per patio. Patio sizes vary and can accommodate 10 – 200 guests.

Yes, Dark Harbor features a variety of concession food and beverage options, from snacks to dinner. The R.I.P. Lounge features an all-you-can-eat taco bar for those who purchase this upgrade in addition to their event ticket. Dark Harbor features 2 themed bar experiences, 1 Whiskey Tasting Room, 4 walk-up bars, and 4 queue line bars. A variety of alcoholic beverages from beer to mixed drinks are served. Yes, we are one of the only Halloween haunts that offers a wide selection of beer, wine and spirits that can be enjoyed throughout the event. The last call is 75 minutes prior to event close nightly.
- No backpacks or open tote bags that exceed 12" x 6" x 12".
- All bags are subject to inspection. No Exceptions.
- Small clutch bags that do not exceed 4.5” X 6.5”, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into Dark Harbor.
- *Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.

Rain or shine, Dark Harbor will be open! However, the safety of our guests is our top priority and we may make the decision to close Dark Harbor in the event of an extreme weather emergency.

We STRONGLY encourage parking off-site for Dark Harbor, as this may help make your night more enjoyable and expedite your entry into the event.
We have several different GENERAL parking locations available to you in the downtown Long Beach area listed below. A FREE shuttle will be available to take you frm each of the off-site parking locations to Dark Harbor and will make continuous round trips to and frm downtown Long Beach, so you can return to your off-site lot after a night of fear. You can even pre-purchase your parking by clicking your arrival date HERE.
