The Queen Mary is proud to be the only place where guests are able to stay aboard and walkthrough Churchill's Cabinet and Map Room and experience what it was to be in the room where Churchill planned his infamous D-Day concept.
Experience what it was like when Churchill and the entire British War Cabinet made some of the most important wartime decisions while in wartime outrunning any threat to the Queen Mary
Few public figures have had more influence on modern political and social life than former British Prime Minister, Winston Spencer-Churchill. Fewer still had an ongoing relationship with the Queen Mary. To commemorate their affinity a new Churchill-themed exhibition has been brought to the Queen Mary.
The exhibit features reproductions of the authentic Churchill War Rooms bunker as designed for the Universal Pictures / Focus Features movie, "Darkest Hour." It will take knowledgeable 'Churchillians' and less-informed history buffs into WWII's secret spaces where Churchill and his staff confronted the Nazi onslaught.
