The 21st Annual Queen Mary ScotsFestival offers guests a glimpse into Scottish culture and history. Featuring a variety of traditional Scottish activities including athletic competitions, a Grand Parade, dancing, piping and whisky tasting, ScotsFestival is fun for the entire family.
ATHLETICSFor centuries, Scots have been competing in tests of physical strength, skill and technique, and ScotsFest gives visitors a chance to see (or compete) these exciting events firsthand.

MUSIC DANCINGTraditional Highland dancing was once considered an athletic event due to the stamina and physical strength required to perform a variety of traditional Scottish dances, including the Highland Fling, the Sword Dance and the Scottish Lilt.

SHEEPHERDINGOne of the most unique and unpredictable events at ScotsFest is sheepherding. Owners, their dogs and of course, the sheep, will compete through an obstacle course where they will earn points for speed and accuracy.

SLIGO RAGSDubbed a One-Band Music Festival, Sligo Rags returns to Queen Mary’s Scotsfestival with their infectious energy, eclectic musical influences and captivating sound. Among the top acoustic bands in LA (by Folkworks Magazine) and two-time winners of the Orange County Music Award for Best Folk Band, this dynamic ensemble presents Celtic Folk with a decidedly bluegrass attitude.
