We ask all of our guests to PRINT OUT THEIR TICKETS prior to arrival. This will cut down on the wait time at Will Call.


About Dark Harbor

What is Dark Harbor?

Dark Harbor is the Queen Mary’s annual Halloween event featuring mazes, monsters, food and beverages, RIP lounge and entertainment.

When is Dark Harbor?

The terror begins October 1 and runs for 20 haunted evenings through November 1 from 7PM to midnight, while closing at 1AM on Fridays and Saturdays. Ticket prices start at just $20 online, with Fast Fright, VIP Passes, and lodging packages available.

What are the hours?

On Fridays and Saturdays, Dark Harbor opens from 7PM to 1AM. All other days, Dark Harbor is open 7PM- 12AM. Some maze lines may close early due to capacity. We recommend arriving early to avoid the lines!  See Full Calendar Here.

Is there an age restriction?

No, there are no age restrictions. We do not recommend children attend Dark Harbor. Dark Harbor can be extremely frightening and may contain images not appropriate for young guests.

I want to stay overnight are there room packages available?

Yes, we have room packages starting at $215 including an overnight stay in a stateroom - that includes: (2) General Admission tickets, (2) Fast Fright front of the line passes & a (1) night stay aboard the haunted Queen Mary for one low price.

Are there any hotel packages with VIP upgrade?

There are upgrade options available for $60 per person, available at passenger information onsite, reservations or the box office.

Are there ins and outs?

No, there are no ins and outs.

What happens if it rains?

Rain or shine, Dark Harbor will be open! 

Is Dark Harbor Open on Halloween?

Yes, Dark Harbor will be open on Halloween from 7PM- 1AM

Parking

What is the situation with parking?

Queen Mary General Parking is $20. Preferred Parking is $30. Arrive early as the Queen Mary lot SELLS OUT FAST. 

Offsite parking is $20 (CASH ONLY) and is available on Fridays - Sunday after 7PM.  Our off site lots are just across the water in Downtown Long Beach. Shuttle service will be provided during Dark Harbor hours. The last shuttle departs Dark Harbor one hour after closing. See below for offsite parking locations:

Where can I purchase Dark Harbor Tickets?

Are the prices the same every day?

No, prices are dynamic and may be higher or lower depending on the day you want to attend. We encourage guests to attend during the first days to avoid higher prices. Click here for the Dark Harbor Calendar.

What is the ticket price?

Tickets start at $20 for the Happy Haunting Hour and $24 for General Admission (online only). We recommend that guests buy their tickets online to save time in line and save money. Tickets are less expensive when bought online at least 24 hours in advance. Also - PRINT OUT YOUR TICKETS prior to arrival and avoid the WILL CALL LINE. Click here for Dark Harbor ticket information.

What is a Happy Haunting Hour Ticket?

Happy Haunting Hour tickets start at only $20 and only available for purchase online. Guests must enter the event before 8PM or pay the full General Admission ticket price. Happy Haunting Hour Tickets are our cheapest tickets start at just $20 and once inside guests can stay until closing! Limited quantities available- NOT available for purchase at box office.

What is a Fast Fright Pass?

Fast Fright passes gives you expedited, priority entry into the event and mazes, a shorter line that will save you time!  Upgrade early - limited passes available.

Does the Fast Fright pass get you into every maze?

Yes, Fast Fright passes are good for all six mazes for the duration of the night and includes front of the line access into the event.

What is VIP Admission?

For guests 21 and over only. Our VIP package includes: VIP entrance, (1) Ticket, (1) Fast Fright Pass (priority entry into event and mazes) & (1) admission to the RIP Lounge (and 3 drink tickets) located above Dark Harbor, where you can rest in peace with a ghost-eye-view of entire event and only the occasional monster encounter. I purchased a Dark Harbor ticket for the wrong date, can I exchange it?

Please check and make sure you have the right date selected when purchasing your ticket. ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL - NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. 

Do you accept AAA Discounts for Dark Harbor?

Dark Harbor accepts a variety of promotional codes, but we do not offer AAA discounts for Dark Harbor at this time.

Dark Harbor Mazes and Entertainment

What are the mazes ?

In 2015, Dark Harbor is pleased to unveil Lullaby, a spine tingling trip through the story of little Scary Mary.  A total of six mazes will leave you screaming for more! SEE ALL THE MAZES

Queue Lines for Mazes may close up to 60 minutes prior to event closure depending on wait times so arrive early

Are there rides?

Yes! This year Dark Harbor will also have rides.

What type of entertainment does Dark Harbor offer?

Dark Harbor will feature nightly entertainment such as DJs, stage shows, monsters, mazes, rides and attractions.

Are the sliders performing this year?

Yes, the sliders will have nightly performances

Food and Alcohol

Will there be food and beverages available inside Dark Harbor?

Yes, we will have a variety of food and beverage options, from snack items to dinner plates available inside the event. We will also a variety of alcoholic beverages from beers to a full bar. Plus we will have plenty of seating for guests to sit, relax and eat.

Will there be a vegetarian option?

We will have a variety of food for sale, including some vegetarian options.

Can I bring my own food into the event?

No, we do not permit outside food or beverage inside the event.

What does Food and Beverage cost?

Food and Beverage costs will vary, but we do our best to offer affordable options.

Will I be able to eat a full meal at the event?

We will offer a range of food choices including dinner plates, but not a sit-down dinner service.

Do you serve alcohol at Dark Harbor?

Yes, we are the only Halloween event in the area to serve alcohol inside the event. We will have beer, wine, mixed drinks and signature mixed cocktails.

Last call for alcohol is 75 minutes prior to event closure.

Restrictions - Prohibited Items & Costumes

What items are restricted?

The following is a list posted of prohibited items for this event: knives/weapons etc., drugs & drug paraphernalia, gang related clothing and items, disorderly conduct, wallet chains, costumes, pepper spray, coolers, chewing gum, flashlights and laser pointers, ALL pens and markers, carabiner key chains (larger than three inches), selfie sticks, and outside food & beverage.

Confiscated items will not be returned.

Are costumes allowed?

No. Costumes without masks are ONLY allowed on Halloween (Oct. 31) and on Dia De Los Muertos Nov. 1. Costumes must be registered prior to entering the event. Masks are not permitted. CLICK HERE for the Dark Harbor costume waiver. Masks and props are NOT allowed.

Wheelchairs and Service Animals

Is the event wheelchair accessible?

Yes, we have two wheelchair accessible mazes. Additionally the Freak Shows are also wheelchair accessible.

May I bring my service animal?

Yes, service animals are permitted.
