What better place to spend Halloween - a night of haunts - then a visit to the haunted Queen Mary?

In addition to the annual Halloween Costume Ball at Dark Harbor- where guests of Dark Harbor can wear costumes and win up to $1,000 in prizes - The Queen Mary will host Trick or Treating for the kids from 4-6 p.m. (also at Dark Harbor), will also open up a special ghost tour aboard the ship with famed ParaXplorer Project founder Matthew Schulz at 10 p.m. for you Ghost Hunters out there and finally - we do have a limited number of hotel rooms available - to sleep with the spirits aboard this haunted ship.

Little Monster's Ball 4-6PM

Looking for some family fun this Halloween?

Parents - bring your little monsters down to the Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor for the second-annual Little Monsters Ball 4 - 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31.

This special event features, Trick-or-Treating, Face Painting ($3 each), magic shows and special entertainment - just for kids. Bring the little ones dressed in their Halloween costumes* and compete for terrific prizes in the Kid’s Costume* Contest!

At only $5 per child (ticket includes one adult admission into the Little Monster's Ball per child), you are sure to have a great and safe Halloween at the Little Monsters Ball. Please print out the registration form below and bring it with you in addition to your ticket to be admitted.

Dark Harbor's
Halloween Costume* Ball

7:00 pm - Midnight

Join us for Dark Harbor’s second-annual Costume* Ball! Wear your scariest costume* at the Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor on Halloween night only. Included in the regular price of admission to Dark Harbor.

In addition to a fabulous Drag Show hosted by Jewels Long Beach, DJ Manny Lehman will be on hand spinning tunes.

The Dark Harbor Costume* Ball starts at 7 p.m. and goes until midnight. This is one party you don’t want to miss! Please download the registration form below, print it out and bring it with you for admission into the event.

*NO props. Masks are prohibited during the Costume Ball from 7pm-midnight.  Registration is required prior to entering the event & your assigned bib number must be worn at all times. If the bib cannot be attached to your costume, you will not be allowed to enter the event. The Queen Mary has sole discretion on any costumes or accessories that may not be permitted into Dark Harbor. Admission to Dark Harbor required for Costume Ball.


Place yourself deep within the decks of a purported world-class haunted location as guided by paranormal investigator and ParaXplorer Project founder Matthew Schulz. Employ provided investigation equipment while making lengthy visits to reported paranormal hot spots not available to the general public. Stops include a selection from the following: R-Deck Forward, a compartment first investigated only recently and found potentially curiously active; dizzyingly cavernous Boiler Rooms; infamous first and third class swimming pool; the ship's engine room; Queen Mary Wheelhouse among others. Cap the evening off by utilizing a unique experimental tool, the "Spirit Box", that might provide direct, real-time audible spirit communication. It's an exciting evening of potential paranormal discovery.

Guests are strongly encouraged to bring cameras, digital voice recorders and hand-held investigation equipment.

Tickets are just $75 per person. Reservations are recommended. Walk-ups are welcome, but NOT guaranteed. All tours have a 30-person limit due to safety reasons. Must be at least 16 years or older.
