Dia De Los Muertos Descends upon Dark Harbor
Nov. 1 & 2
Dark Harbor will pay tribute to the dead in the first-annual Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration Nov. 1-2.
A parade of the perished will manifest throughout the gates of Dark Harbor, with ghouls, ghosts and goblins marching with the traditional sugar skulls and marigolds parting the living that dare attend on these nights and paying homage to the spirits of their ancestors enshrined at Dark Harbor.
Visitors will be invited to don costumes (masks and props are not allowed) and participate in a contest with cash prizes, a hefty reckoning to the victor.

Skilled artists will be on hand to place paint upon the faces of the living (for an extra charge), a fine memorial to the deceased with alluring imagery adorned upon their likeness.
DJ Abel will be spinning live on Friday and Saturday, while the band Grave Slave Rock will perform upon the Dark Harbor stage creating music that reflects the present and is rooted in the most telluric past.
And of course the bar will be open to offer food and drink to the ancestors!
Celebrate Dia De Los Muertos amongst the chaos that is Dark Harbor.
