The Opportunity
We are currently looking for an Online & Consumer Marketing Manager to join our team. As the Online & Consumer Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for defining, implementing and managing online and consumer related activities to ensure maximum revenue production.
Job Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the Online & Consumer Marketing Manager include:
- Overseeing, monitoring and maintaining website content
- Updating all website content and ensuring accuracy
- Implementing tracking systems and establishing success metrics and performance indicators to evaluate site effectiveness on a routine basis
- Using analytics/reporting tools (i.e., Google, Omniture, etc.) to evaluate site effectiveness
- Providing support, review and affiliation for all online review/listing sites and Social Media
- Performing Customer Data Integration (CDI): email, eblast, targeting, partnering, reporting
- Overseeing online advertising to include media buys, PPC, re-targeting, contextual, SEM
- Performing marketing efforts related to maximizing booking engine and ticketing software
- Composing auto-responders and on-hold messaging updates
- Providing creative feedback, asset management, and proofreading
- Establishing and managing mobile and tablet marketing efforts
- Securing and maintaining prominent SEO rankings and placement
- Coordinating deals with third parties (i.e., Groupon, Living Social, Goldstar, etc.)
- Creating technical and creative copy as needed
- Securing licensing permissions
- Providing agency support and onsite coordination as needed – online calendar and alert outreach
- Performing special projects as needed
Job Requirements
If you’re an experienced online and consumer marketing manager who enjoys driving online revenues in a hands on environment, who likes to be creative and innovative but also enjoys analyzing efforts to ensure achieving the most effective ROI, you just might be the candidate that we’re looking for. In addition, the ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in online marketing, web maintenance, and analysis
- Ability to analyze marketing opportunities and advertising effectiveness
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Skilled in problem analysis, problem solving and decision-making
- Process oriented – ability to see from start-to-finish and all of the steps in between
- Excellent copywriting and proofing skills
- Above average Excel knowledge; extremely comfortable compiling and manipulating data
- Innovative, adaptable, collaborative and persuasive
- Technologically savvy
