The Pipe Band Competition will be Saturday and Sunday, featuring full-size bands from Grade III to V. Among the bands performing in the specially constructed Pipe Band Arena will be the Grade I Los Angeles Scots. In addition, there will be professional and amateur individual piping and drumming competitions Saturday and Sunday.

Are you ready to once again enjoy the heavy athletics Saturday and Sunday featuring Weight for Distance, Hammer Throw, Putting the Stone, Weight for Height and the ever popular Tossing the Caber. Classes B & C are represented along with Women’s Classes. Invited Pro Class athletes will compete as well as a Masters Class for men over 50.

Come out to the Queen Mary and enjoy a beer and Scottish Pie while cheering on the athletes.

Come join us for a very special evening as we welcome you to  the 10th annual Plaidpalooza on Saturday, February 19 at  8:00 p.m. in the Queen's Salon.

Once again the Los Angeles Scots Pipe Band will be back to perform throughout the evening. 

The doors to the Queen's Salon will open at 7:30 p.m. for the concert. Free to the public.

Enjoy the music and humor of “Men of Worth” performing in the Queen’s Salon at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2012.

Tickets are $15.00 each and seating is limited.

Join us for the ninth year for the Queen Mary Dart Tournament in partnership with the “The Dart Shop” in Buena Park.

There will be events in mens and ladies singles and doubles, and also a “Blind Draw,” in which names are drawn out of a hat to form teams of varied skills.

The tournament is open to all, and those who pre-register for two or more events will receive complimentary admission to the Scottish Festival Saturday and Sunday. Winners will receive cash prizes.

Extend the Fun!!

Don’t leave right away on Sunday! Monday is a Holiday! Relax at our informal Ceilidh Piping Competition held in the wonderful Art Deco Observation Bar on Sunday Evening. This is where pipers let down their hair after the formalities of the weekend.

In partnership with the Scottish Heritage Center, the piping gets started at 8:00 p.m.

Friday February 17th - 7:00 p.m.

Join us on for a single malt Scotch whisky tasting.
ScotchMaster Ray Pearson will lead you through an evening devoted to exploring the tastes of the traditional whisky regions.

The tasting will feature:

• The Glenrothes (from Speyside)
• Glen Grant (from Speyside)
• Bowmore (from Islay)
• Auchentoshan (from the Lowlands)

The cost of the tasting is $25 per person, ages 21 and over.
